The assignment: Find VLK Architects a walkable, urban home for their company’s new HQ. The result: a ~67,000 SF mixed-use development in the heart of Fort Worth’s Magnolia Village. The project consists of two buildings built in 2022 on the surface parking lot of 1920’s historic building.

With a 200-car parking garage, ~42,000 square feet of creative & medical office space, ~20,000 square feet of retail & restaurant space, and five historic residential lofts, The 701 is one of the largest private mixed-use developments in Fort Worth’s Near Southside. Notable Tenants include VLK Architects, Shinjuku Station, Walloon’s (Chef Marcus Paslay’s newest concept), Monument Realty, and Texas Health Resources.
